MAPFHA ADVERTISING POLICIES
CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING POLICY
A classified ad is defined as a “for sale” ad
that is not promoting a farm, a service, or a business specifically, but is
offering a horse or item(s) for sale.
·
All MAPFHA Family or
Individual Memberships are offered 2 free classified ads per fiscal year (Oct –
Sept), posted on the website, MAPFHA.com
·
Each ad, free or paid,
is limited to the sale of one individual horse, or the sale of other items
(tack, trailers, farm equipment, art, books, whatever you have), limited to 50
words per ad. A photo may be included.
·
Non-Members may place
ads, but do not have the benefit of 2 free classified ads per fiscal year.
The cost is $10 per ad for the 3rd+ ad placed by MAPFHA Members and any ad
placed by a non-member.
·
Paid ads will be
posted on the MAPFHA website once payment for the ad is received.
·
All ads will run for
at least one full calendar quarter. If the ad is placed in the middle of
the quarter, it will run to the end of that quarter and the following full
quarter. At the end of the 1st full 90 day quarter, the ad will be
removed. If the member wishes to continue to run the ad, MAPFHA must be
notified and the ad will be counted as the 2nd free ad or the cost will be $10
for the renewal of the ad, as applicable, to run up to the end of that quarter
to be removed or renewed, and so on.
·
MAPFHA appreciates
being notified in a timely manner if the horse/item(s) for sale are sold.
